Responsibilities include:
- Being a holistic SEO practitioner, driving strategy on how technical SEO/content/PR/social/analytics/PPC/usability and conversion optimization will work together
- Collaborating with management to build a world-class SEO discipline (Process Improvement / Productivity Improvements)
- Building and maintaining a strong knowledge of SEO solutions and SEO technologies
- Establishing deep client relationships and lead monthly calls and reporting
- Ensuring that programs track towards goals for assigned clients and, when necessary, helping clients determine ROI goals
- Reviewing monthly reports to ensure recommendations/results are on target with the overall strategy
- Guide clients and internal partners in the design of effective SEO programs that meet the client strategic business objectives
- Developing the talents of subordinates to their full potential, motivating and inspiring them
- Attending necessary trade show/events and occasional speaking at such events
- Consulting with design team on projects which involve (re)design and SEO, SMM, or PPC
- Assisting sales team with strategy for prospective clients
- Assisting in sales proposal / scope development / resource allocation
- Developing and leading delivery of professional presentations to prospects
Requirements:
- Ability to own (“the buck stops here”) the success of each/every project
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- 5+ years SEO experience similar to the above mentioned responsibilities
- Bachelors degree in marketing related field
- Experience with National and Local SEO (in competitive areas)
- Experience working with project management software
- Experience working with all leading industry software/programs
- Expert in Google Analytics / Google Webmaster Tools
- Ability to craft creative content marketing strategies / social promotion efforts
- Experience in Conversion Rate Optimization/UX
- Ability to demonstrate past experience/case studies
- Able to multi-task and switch gears quickly while maintaining a positive attitude
- Good tenure and excellent employment references required
- Able to work as needed on special projects
