A CMS, or Content Management System, is a system that manages the creation and adjusting of digital content. CMSs most often allow for multiple users to create and publish content to the web without input from a direct webmaster.

Many CMSs gear toward allowing users to create and modify web pages, often allowing for the use of graphics, photos, text, video, audio, maps, and even program code. WordPress is the most popular CMS, contributing to a large portion of websites on the internet.
